Learn Spanish in Panama 2012

Panama is an absolutely stunning country. Vibrant green forests stretch along the coasts to the famous Panama Canal; deep rainforests are swathed in mist as the sun rises over the treetops and the white Caribbean beaches are surrounded by emerald-green water and coral reefs just offshore. When to travel to Panama

Panama is a wonderful place to visit throughout the entire year, as the tropical climate does not vary much from season to season and temperatures remain constantly warm.

January, February and March are the language travel high season, perfect for language learners looking to meet as many new people as possible from all over the world. The colourful, outrageous carnival season also comes to Panama in February.

The months of April and May are very warm and summery. Make the most of European Easter or early summer holidays to enjoy sunbathing, hiking and rafting in Panama.

The months of June, July and August, when most Europeans take their summer holidays, are not as busy in Panama, which brings the benefit that there will be less students at the language school (and hence smaller class sizes, leading to a more intimate and intensive learning experience). The climate remains warm as ever, and the tropical rainforests are a lush, vibrant shade of green.

Autumn and winter: October, November and December is summertime in Panama. Experience a Christmas in the sun for a change as you come to Boquete or Bocas del Toro to learn Spanish! Do note, though, that the height of the rainy season is usually in November.

So what is the average age of our students? Contrary to popular belief, language learning is not just for young people. Around half of our course participants are between 18 and 28, often university students from all fields or young professonials from many European countries. Many of our customers are in their 30s and 40s. Language travel is becoming increasingly popular amongst people aged 40+ who are looking to get to know new countries, make new friends and learn to speak a language fluently. The quickest way to perfect your English skills and to learn to speak fluently is to take a language course at a quality school abroad, in the country where the language is spoken. At the LISA! Language School in Malta, you’ll learn fluent English in a matter of weeks. A LISA! Our language courses for adults and students start every Monday. Participants travel to the destination on Sunday. We recommend that you fly to Malta International Airport. We offer great value airport transfers: £23 per person one way, or £14 per person when two people are travelling together (pick-up and drop-off points must be the same).

We also organise English for teenagers in Malta in summer as well as during the Easter and autumn school holidays. Prices include a comprehensive activity programme for our young learners – they’ll have the time of their lives learning English with teens from all over the world on the sunny island of Malta!

Learn English in sunny South Africa
