Autumn Days in Montréal

Dear Readers,

For a few days in autumn (or ‘fall’ as they say across the Atlantic!), the countryside of North America turns ablaze with colour as green leaves change into vibrant shades of golden yellow, orange and red. In Canada, bright avenues of trees line the streets, giving entire cities and parks that unique autumn feeling. The days are often still sunny and warm – the perfect time for a trip to bilingual city Montréal. Imagine walking around this exciting metropole, your footsteps crunching through the fallen leaves as you explore this unique double culture. Temperatures are still mild with very little rain at this time of year, but if you’ve had enough of the Great Outdoors, Montréal has some fantastic museums to offer, as well as a range of different cafés with street terraces on the Saint-Laurent Boulevard. In the evenings, head to the ‘Downtown’ area with its many bars and music scene.
